Learn the why.  Earn your speed.

Motocross has been part of Greg Sipe’s life for more than four decades. From racing through the late 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and beyond, Greg has spent a lifetime learning what makes riders faster—not just how to twist the throttle, but how proper technique, confidence, racecraft, and preparation come together on the track.

During the 1990s and early 2000s, Greg took that experience beyond his own racing and began coaching other riders, helping them develop stronger fundamentals, better decision-making, and the confidence to push their abilities without simply riding over their heads. His coaching philosophy has always been simple: speed is earned through the flawless execution of fundamentals and understanding why something works—not just being told what to do.

Now, Greg is bringing that experience back to motocross coaching in the Pacific Northwest. After stepping back from coaching for a number of years, watching his daughter Ali begin her own motocross racing journey in 2024 reignited his passion for developing riders. Being back at the track every weekend reinforced something Greg has believed for decades: talented riders are everywhere, but many never receive the structured coaching and fundamentals they need to reach their potential, ride safe and earn their speed.

Through PNW MX Coach, Greg combines more than 40 years of racing experience, decades of lessons learned from competition, and his previous coaching success with a modern approach that focuses on body position, acceleration, braking, cornering, starts, bike control, race strategy, and rider confidence / mindet.

Whether you're a new rider building the right foundation or a racer searching for the next level, Greg’s goal isn't simply to make you faster for one lap—it’s to teach you the skills and understanding that make you a better rider every time the gate drops.

You don’t shortcut speed. You earn it.

“You don’t truly earn your speed until you understand what creates it—the transfer of energy, conservation of momentum, traction, gravity, and the forces acting between you, the motorcycle, and the ground. The fastest riders don’t fight physics. They learn to use it.” - Greg
